kiban link | API Hub for Credit and Government Services Cover

Background

link is a web API that simplifies access to credit, identity, and government-related services through a single integration point. It helps companies avoid building separate integrations for providers such as Buró de Crédito, Círculo de Crédito, IMSS, CURP, and other external services.

One of the main challenges behind this type of product is the complexity of connecting with multiple services that have different access rules, formats, and technical requirements. Managing those integrations independently can increase effort, slow down workflows, and add operational friction.

link solves this by providing one unified API supported by API keys, test cases, and secure secret storage through a vault module. This makes external service consumption more consistent, manageable, and easier to integrate into business processes.

Project Overview

link works through kiban cloud, where users can manage their API access and monitor how each service is being consumed. From the main dashboard, they can review endpoint usage and manage the core modules of the tool.

Users can create API keys to securely consume endpoints connected to credit, identity, government, and partnership services. The vault module allows them to store secrets that are needed for authenticated requests or integrations that require secure credentials.

The tool also includes test cases that can be used in sandbox mode to validate endpoints, simulate scenarios, and review responses safely. These test cases can also support connected flows in Workfloo when teams need controlled testing environments.

My Role

I worked on Link as Tech Lead and Frontend Developer, helping define the frontend architecture and the technologies used for the project. My role focused on building a clear and maintainable foundation that supported the product’s core modules and kept development straightforward.

Although it was one of the simpler projects at Kiban, it still required solid technical planning to ensure the tool remained organized, scalable, and easy to evolve. My contribution was centered on turning that simplicity into a reliable implementation with a clean frontend structure.
